What is a Service Fraternity?
Service Fraternity is a type of organization whose primary purpose is community service. Members of KKPsi are not restricted from joining other types of fraternities. Our primary community service is serving the band, helping with equipments and field lining, as well as loading buses for events.

This is Roni, and I guess I am the president this year or something…
​
In all seriousness, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to lead Theta Beta as president this year. I am super super super excited for this upcoming year because I already know it is going to be filled with so many fun events with so many great people!​
​
I would like to recognize all of Theta Beta’s successes during the 2025-2026 school year. This past NEDCon, we took home the Chapter Academic Achievement Award and Joint Relations Award with Eta Gamma! Our very own James Kang received the District Outstanding Sponsor Award, and Palmer Wencley received the J. Lee Burke Student Achievement Award! On top of that, we were named a Crown Pearl Chapter and completed 15 of 15 Crown Pearl Goals! We are looking to continue with the momentum this upcoming school year as we approach the National Convention in Summer 2027. I am so proud of all the work we as a chapter have done, and we are not done yet!

Looking ahead, we have so many things in store for not only us, but for future members and past members! Stay tuned for that ;). My goal as president this year is to foster brotherhood. Being able to have fun with each other and be there for each other helps everything else fall into place, so I want to emphasize community! To start strong, our actives will be shipping to Revere Beach to have our Theta Beta Beach Bash. This is to celebrate the end of another successful band camp and to go into the new school year hype! This is just one of many things we plan to do this year :)

As I enter my final year at BU and Kappa Kappa Psi, I am so grateful for the community that has welcomed me with open arms and wish luck to the future generations of this community! It has truly been an honor to see how much growth has taken place while active here, and I am confident in Theta Beta’s ability to thrive in whatever comes their way!

I could write all day about Theta Beta, but I like to build suspense… make sure to keep up with us on the socials and through email as well. You might see a couple of takeovers and maybe even see us in our Tiktok/Reels era. If you ever want to reach out to me, don’t hesitate (I’m always on my phone). Once again, wishing everyone a wonderful year!

We help our athletic bands with loading buses & trucks, field lining, and more!!! We also help concert and Jazz ensembles sign out instruments and lockers!!
Music
All of the members in KKPsi are also band members in athletic bands at BU, that could be either Marching Band, Pep Band, Winter Guard, or Winter Drumline.
